Why aren’t women receiving equal pay?

Soccer is one of the most popular sports in the world. It is fun and has been played for many generations. But there is one problem, men get a higher raise each year than women. More people come to watch men playing soccer rather than women. About 25 percent of women have more talent in soccer than men, yet men are being watched the most. The fact that women are getting paid less does not seem to be fair.

Women receive about $30,000 a year while men receive $50,000-60,000 a year, in the United States of America. A lot of women soccer teams have received world cups for the past few years. Women players are talented, possibly better players than some men, yet they have less sponsors for the team and get less money. Less people are interested in woman soccer games than men. When you think about famous soccer players, you often think about men soccer players as opposed to women soccer players, right? Women deserve to have a higher raise every year. They deserve to have the same amount of rights as men. Instead of getting $30,000 a year, they should start getting $60,000 a year. These women have talent, but they get paid less than men. As a female soccer player I believe that these women deserve the same amount of money as men.
