Amber Walker Story
Amber Walker, is currently a junior at Dayton Regional STEM School (DRSS). She is seventeen years old. Walker has a vision of becoming a visual artist who creates images to show the world, but also models with her designed clothes. She represent STEM in artistic from, creating a vibe that shows off different talents at STEM. Collaborating with Ms. Whitman Allen and Ms. Montgomery to explore different parts of art. She has been in many, extremely competitive design agencies where the artist would have to make a piece of clothing. Amber ran against twenty other designers/artists and Amber received 2nd place for the designed dress she made.
Recently, Amber participated in a fashion show on Saturday May, 07, 2016. The fashion show was ran by Mary Katherine Burnside the local owner of Clash Consignments. During, the fashion show Amber not only designed for the show, but also modeled her clothes. Her goal is to broadcast her designed clothes to have women appreciate the way that their body is made, and her second goal is to sell womens' appeal in her own boutique. Walker’s design consists of clothing that she made beforehand to fit the models. At fashion the show Amber’s models will walk out on the stage and taken professional picture of. According to Amber, “I believe that my dreams are meant to come true”. She forever has this motto in her head because she will never give up on her dream. She allows any path to become the reason why she is a strong woman and she is encouraged enough to know that she concur anything she put her mind to.
After Amber graduates high school, she would like to attend an art institution to become to a designer in visual arts. Eventually, she wants to also own a women’s clothing store. Amber is most notable for having such power and dedication to her goals to become a successful women in art. Amber believes that, it’s not where you start in life, it’s where you want to end that is really important.
