Oh Gosh it's Summer Already ?!?!?! Juniors weigh in

With only 3 weeks left in the quarter, summer is looming ahead and closer than ever! But how are DRSS juniors going to spend their last summer before college? I asked several students how excited they were for summer on a scale of one to ten and why. Here’s what some of them had to say…

Hiba Ahmad: 3, because summer means senior year is coming. And I’m going to be alone with my thoughts. Also Hot, sticky weather and fasting.

Keshawn Mellon: 8, because I’m going to Boston. But it also means that senior year is coming up. Summer sounds horrible.

Maddie Kelly: 9, because every day I want to not be at school and summer is like the best way to not be at school in a way that is legal. Summer should be a way to just become better and less stressed and tired. But also it’s just going to end up being me avoiding things I need to do to get prepared for college.

My, my, my…It seems like some DRSS juniors aren’t really looking forwards for summer. Let’s hear from some positive students now!

Sophia Houston: 10, because I’m looking forwards to college!
