Under Water

As I sink to the bottom blue liquid reflecting the sky,
I have the urge to open my eyes.
Nothing but the dense liquid fills my view.
My eyes start to sting from the strange bacteria inside the water,
But I resist to close them.
As my lungs start to twist and burn from the lack of oxygen, I want to breathe again.
But I know if I do so reality will take its common place in the world of my drama.
I know that I have a few more seconds until I will begin to fade.
So I close my eyes and float to the top where the real world has taken place.
