CGXC is #Hungry4more

Centerville girls cross country (CGXC) team is #Hungry4more after an amazing 2015 season, placing 7th at Nike Cross international and placing 1st for the past two years. The team of 74 girls is coached by David Dobson and his five coaching staff. Last year they won state and traveled all the way to Oregon for nationals.

This season their theme is #Hungry4more, being the reigning champions. Their season has been off to a great start after the Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC). There they placed 2nd overall and 1st for their region. Post season had begun; and this past weekend they went to districts and placed 3rd. The boy’s team placed 1st. This last weekend was the big state meet at Ohio State University. The pressure was on for the varsity team as they tried to preserve their state champion title. The team pushed through and won their 3rd state title and are now off to nationals, hoping to place in the top
