The Words That Failed You

I am wonderfully insane.

I am like a lone cloud floating through the sky.

I am your favorite china doll, lying on the ground,

broken beyond repair.

I am a promise waiting to be broken.

I am a rope, tethered to an infinite number of possibilities.

I am the perfect student.

I am the sparkle in your life,

a quick change.

I am far from expected,

a civilized adventure.

I am insecure. I am in love but have no one.

I am lonely, but I am surrounded by friends.

I am laughing on the outside, crying on the inside.

I am fine but my inner peace struggles, dying all time.

I am the words that failed you.

I am the small thing you regret but enjoy at the same time.

I am the saddest person ever to walk the earth—it’s as if I’m cursed.

I am a seed constantly moving, growing as I do so.

I am a star in a constellation,

minute within an enormous galaxy.

I am me—I cannot be transformed
