GO GO Power Rangers

*Spoilers Ahead*

As many of you probably know, the new Power Rangers movie came out back in March, starring Darce Montgomery as Jason, also known as the Red Ranger, the leader of the pack.

The other rangers include pink ranger, yellow ranger, black ranger, and blue ranger. I previously had not seen the 1996 TV-show, starring Catherine Sutherland, so I had no preconceived notions of what I thought it should be. Overall, it was a pretty good action, packed film, featuring some well-known celebrities: Elizabeth Banks who can be seen in Pitch Perfect and 30 Rock; Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad and Malcolm in the Middle; and Matt Shively from True Jackson VP and The Real O’Neals.

The movie starts out with Jason getting into trouble and losing his entire football scholarship, causing him to attend detention, where he meets the other Power Rangers. Without giving too much away, the story ends with the chara

cters uniting their differences as one to defeat Rita, an antagonist obsessed with gold. With the way the movie ended, there will probably be a sequel. The Power Rangers movie is still in theaters, so see this action-packed film while you still can.
