Time to Dance!

Prom is here! Everyone, who has a date or going with their friends, is busy planning everything out for their perfect night. Stores are filled with juniors and seniors shopping for the perfect dress or perfect suit the perfect nails, and just about perfect everything. Restaurants are booked with reservations. Flower shops are filled with teens buying corsages and boutonnieres for their dates. While some schools like Wayne High School already had their prom, others like Beavercreek High School haven’t even had it yet. STEM is hosting its prom tomorrow. As some of you may know many of the juniors and seniors from our school haven’t gotten their dress, and they are going to need a lot of luck finding one in the last minute as things are going out of stock. “I usually just do everything in the las minute, but this is not something that I can do in the last minute.” Said Shivani Selvam, a junior from STEM.

Although many students are not attending prom this year, the tickets are running out fast. Many the students are not interested in spending $40 for one dance. I don’t usually like going to school dances especially if it costs this much.” Explained Alyssa Jackson, a junior from STEM. Usually around 50-100 juniors and seniors from our school attend prom. You may think that compared to other schools it’s not a lot of people; but other schools have more people in general. Since our school is smaller less people attend prom, but either way, prom is one of the biggest events in a teenager’s life. So would you attend a prom with a larger number or a smaller number of people?
